As working woman, trying to navigate menopause on top of all the other ‘life laundry’ that needs my attention is really hard. To run my life I need to be organised and to make decisions with clarity – my businesses depend on my ability to remember key information.
Like many women, menopause seemed to creep up on me whilst I was busy. By the time I was able to take a look at how I felt about it all, I was lost. I was over weight with a back problem. My hormones and my hunger were out of control, my alcohol intake was increasing. I was simply too tired to exercise. The brain fog was horrendous, I had fatigue, aches and pains, awful anxiety and I was really starting to panic. What I found hard was trying to communicate my needs. The GP could prescribe HRT ofcourse but there were other aspects of my life that I needed to focus on
I needed to a plan to take back control of my life. This is a common question from my clients about menopause: how can I feel like myself again?
Julie Phillips Therapeutic Coaching sessions were created to help peri menopausal and menopausal women take back control of their minds and their bodies. In sessions we can discuss anxieties, habits and those self sabotaging thoughts that hold you back from making the changes you need. We can also work on restoring sleep, balancing mood and how to create a strategy for clarity in decision making.
What worked for you in your 20s and 30s may not work for you in your 40s & 50s – this is new territory and needs a different support package!
Therapeutic Coaching involves hypnotherapy: these sessions are for you if you feel ‘off kilter’ and possibly overwhelmed by changes which seem beyond your control. My sessions are also suitable for women who just need some help and support to get clear on the decisions they need to make next in their career & relationships whilst navigating the menopause.
